After graduating from the University of Minnesota, he joined an automotive parts trading company. After working in the Netherlands, Hong Kong, and Shenzhen, he returned to Japan after leaving the company and founded Prospect Field Corporation in 2009, the predecessor to Lingble, which operates the denim store "DENIMIO".
