"LAUNCHPAD SEED 2025 Powered by Tokyu Land Corporation" is a pitch event focused on seed-stage startups. The event was held at the "Port Hall" on the first floor of the urban smart building, "Tokyo Port City Takeshiba." The finalists, selected through a rigorous selection process from numerous applicants, presented their pitches on a large screen at the Port Hall with impressive visuals.
This year, a wide range of startups participated, from services focused on disability employment and pilot recruitment to plant-based foods, trade, cross-border e-commerce, and AI-related services like AI phones and MCP, delivering passionate presentations. Judges commented, "We were amazed by the presentations and achievements that didn't seem typical for seed-stage startups" and "It’s exciting to see seed-stage startups addressing major global social challenges."
The winner, Lingble Inc., with its AI × EC OS "Lingble," presented at the finals explaining the challenges faced by SMEs in expanding globally, where many teams face difficulties and lose control over consumer data and pricing strategies due to agency contracts. "Lingble" emphasizes its ability to build a "strong global e-commerce" that allows even small brands to use the same strategies and infrastructure as large corporations.
Headline Asia / IVS members were not involved in the judging.
