(E-commerce Site) Account Manager

Lingble is an all-in-one e-commerce solution that allows companies to sell their products directly to consumers globally through their own, highly customized online shops. We work with some of the most important fashion brands in Japan, as well as brands that sell exciting consumer goods in other industries who want to expand their business outside of Japan through e-commerce. We are now looking for account managers in Japan to manage our clients’ online shops and support their needs. With us you will learn how to support our brand clients, monitor online shop performance, provide strategic advice on e-commerce issues, and be the middle person between the client and our internal technology team, customer support team and marketing team. In essence, with us, you will become an international e-commerce expert. Our ideal candidate is someone that is team-oriented, dedicated and has a friendly but professional attitude. We look for people with raw talent who are passionate about what we do, are interested in being part of an up-and-coming tech startup, work well with others, learn quickly, have a strong sense of responsibility and can work well independently without excessive hand holding. You should also be an outstanding communicator and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and analytical skills. Experience in account management or project management is a plus but not required.


Key Functional Areas of Responsibility
Manages the day-to-day administration and maintenance of brand partner online shops.
Manages the relationship with clients by updating them on the site performance on a regular basis, and handles the client's inquiries/requests.
Coordinates with advertising agencies, vendors and media experts to improve marketing results.
Connects with our partner shipping carriers and handles shipping related issues.
Works closely with the team members to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.
Communicates with team leaders on project development, timelines, and results.
Coordinates with agencies, platforms, and clients to ensure approval of social media accounts in key marketing regions.
Oversees the website's technical issues and follows through with the technical team for solutions.


Professional Skills & Qualifications

Native Japanese Speaker
Proficient in English.
Enjoy a remote working environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
Ability to learn new industries and new business types quickly and can apply this knowledge to managing sites and clients.
Interested in global e-commerce, technology or fashion.
High levels of integrity, autonomy, drive.
Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Basic familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Line, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
(Optional) Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) or digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) is a plus.
